Visualization 2 shows the simulation results of the dispersion and movement of 300-nm particles in the dynamic asymmetric potential well with directional flow, especially with the relative velocities of 0 μm/s (red), 57 μm/s (blue), 113 μm/s (green), 227 μm/s (purple), which are consistent with the experimental conditions. It can be found that the effective depths are 10 kBT, 7.03 kBT, 3.06 kBT, 0.09 kBT, respectively, and the half-lifetime of the trapped particles are 3.147ms, 4.217 ms, 5.662 ms, respectively. It is verified that the relative velocity tilts the potential well and has a critical impact on the trapping time.
