A GCaMP6F fluorescence recording of calcium transients in human iPS cardiomyocytes patterned into square islands with sizes ranging from 50 – 1000 μm. Each island beats spontaneously and independently. The 6 x 6 mm field of view was recorded at 50 frames per second and is played back in real time.
