A 15-μm-diameter polystyrene bead is moved at a linear velocity of 500 μm/s by a “doughnut”-shaped light pattern (clip 1). A MCF-7 cell is moved at a linear velocity of 20 μm/s by a “doughnut”-shaped light pattern (clip 2). For the bead, the OET device was driven at an AC bias of 20 Vp-p at 30 kHz. For the cell, the OET device was driven at an AC bias of 6 Vp-p at 20 kHz. The video is in real time.
