In this Letter, we develop a temporal multiplexing complex amplitude computer-generated holography for three-dimensional (3D) display with natural depth perception. A pseudo incoherent wave propagation model is designed to generate a series of optimized band-limited random phase (OBRP) with desired bandwidth as the initialization condition and a temporal multiplexing complex amplitude converting method is devised to complete the wavefront coding of the computer-generated hologram (CGH). Our method enables high image quality as well as natural depth cues and exhibits robustness in CGH synthesis with arbitrary content. It is expected that our method offers an efficient route towards the future high-performance holographic 3D display.
